Vision Boards

Happy New Year... Feliz Año 2021.   We have been going through a lot of changes and we are all waiting for this new year to start with positivism and lots of dreams  We really want a good life.  I happened to be in a house with a dear friend of mine ( I really adore her ) that told me, tonight we are going to do Vision Boards.   Because my background is Real Estate,  I am very familiar with vision boards and trying to attract prosperity.  I said to myself, ok, I know this, I can do it and I will.

I have to tell you, it is so gratifying .  Cutting paper words, or creating words, finding the right colors or finding the right pictures it is like going on vacation or shopping for that vacation.  You are dreaming, you are already having fun and the trip hasn't started yet. 

The first thing you need to do is let your mind fly.  What is it that you really want?  What are the things that make you happy.  You don't have to limit yourself to one vision board.  You can make as many as you want, as long as you look at them and set up the intention to create that vision a reality  in your life.  I decided I really want this one to work for me.   There was only 3 magazines so I did my best with them. You have to start looking for those pictures that make you tick... that really gets into your heart.  When you find something like a beach or a hotel, etc, something that you find attractive and you can see yourself in there, it means, you are craving that.  Go and get it.

I started with a house.  After owning a home for a long time, we relocated to Florida and have been renting for the last years.  Sometimes you feel, Am I  doing the right thing by renting ? I guess we always want to have our own home  Interests high or not.  So, I decided that I want a house.  But that house has to come with some specifications.  It has to be close to the beach.  It has to have a fireplace and it has to have a big window where I can place my Christmas tree right in front of that window..Oh, I forgot , my husband wants a garage, ok  good,  let's talk to the Universe and ask for that one.   Well, I found a picture that it is very colorful, not exactly the decoration I will go for, but it is close.  Remember you are trying to create something that makes you dream and bring it to life.   

Get ready with scissors, tape, glue, crayons, paper , pen and pencils, etc.  you are going to be creative.  Remember, doesn't have to be perfect, just great for yourself.  I decided that I will like to do some get together with friends ( covid permit ) and do this at least twice a year.  It is fun and fulfilling.

I got my house, I got the words that describe my dream job, I got the mailbox that I also want in my house, ( no multiple mailboxes ... no no ) my books to read, and the place that I want to visit as soon as I can fly.  My lovely island of Puerto Rico.  So.... I did it.  You will start the year with great energy and happiness in your heart.  See you on the next one....
