10 things to know about Palo Santo:

1-Spaniards discovered the wood an experienced the ability of Palo Santo to cleanse and heal. They named it Palo Santo or The wood of Saints.

2- It is very surprising to know that there is Male and Female trees of Palo Santo in the Amazonian Forest. They grow in groups of one male and eight females That is why Shamans treat this tree as a living entity.

3-Palo Santo wood purifies on an energetic level.

4- Attracts Positive Energy and mental clarity.

5- For centuries Shamans have used it to clear negativity, attract positive energy and re-establish peace and balance.

6-Palo Santo is harvested from trees that fell naturally in the Amazon rainforest and then rested on the ground for several years. For each fallen tree there is a seed planted.

7-In order to have that concentration of aromatic essential oils, unique fragrance and healing properties, the tree has to fall naturally and spend several years on the ground.

8-The cream of the crop... those are the branches that never touch the ground, offering stronger aroma and medicinal healing
